To play Classic Solitaire, you will need a standard deck of 52 playing cards. The objective of the game is to build the four suits (hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades) into a foundation of ascending order starting with the Ace and ending with the King.
How to play Classic Solitaire online games:
- Start by shuffling a standard deck of 52 playing cards.
- Deal out seven piles of cards, also known as tableau piles, with the first pile containing one card, the second pile containing two cards, and so on. The top card of each pile is face-up, while the rest are face-down.
- The remaining cards from the stockpile. Draw cards from the stockpile one at a time and place them face-up on a separate pile called the “waste” pile.
- Move cards between piles and the foundation piles according to specific rules:
- Build tableau piles in descending order by alternating colors. For example, a black 7 can be placed on top of a red 8.
- You can move a King (13) or a sequence starting with a King to an empty tableau pile.
- You can also move a sequence of cards from one tableau pile to another if they are in descending order and alternating colors.
- If you have an Ace, place it in one of the foundation piles. Build on the foundation piles in ascending order by suit (Ace, 2, 3, etc.).
- Continue moving cards and building sequences until you either run out of moves or successfully build all four foundation piles.
- If you run out of moves, you can draw additional cards from the stockpile to continue playing.
The game is won when all cards are successfully placed in the foundation piles in their respective suits and in ascending order.
