Description

Spider Classic is a classic card game that is played with two decks of cards. The objective of the game is to arrange cards of the same suit in descending order from King to Ace to complete each of the eight foundations. The game is won when all cards have been moved to the foundations.

The game is played with ten tableau columns, where the first four columns have six cards each and the remaining six columns have five cards each. The remaining cards are placed in the stock pile, which can be dealt one card at a time to the waste pile. Players can move cards between tableau columns, the waste pile, and the foundation piles according to certain rules, including only moving cards of the same suit and in descending order. With its challenging gameplay and simple rules, Spider Classic offers an entertaining and addictive experience for players of all skill levels.

How to play Spider Classic online for free

  • Start by shuffling two standard decks of playing cards together. Then, deal ten tableau columns of cards. The first four columns should have six cards each, while the remaining six columns should have five cards each. Place the remaining cards facedown to create the stock pile.
  • The objective of Spider Classic is to build eight foundation piles, each starting with an Ace and ending with a King, for each suit (hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades). The game is won when all cards have been moved to the foundation piles.
  • Examine the tableau columns and arrange the cards in descending order, from King to Ace, with alternating colors (e.g., black and red). For example, a black Queen can be placed on a red King.
  • You can move cards between tableau columns to create descending sequences of cards. A sequence of cards can be moved as long as they are in descending order and have the same suit. For example, you can move a sequence of 5-4-3-2 of hearts from one column to another.
  • If you have an empty tableau column, you can move any card or sequence of cards to that column. This can help in organizing your cards and creating new descending sequences.
  • If you get stuck or need additional cards to make moves, you can deal one card at a time from the stock pile to the waste pile. However, be mindful as dealing from the stock pile reduces the number of available moves.
  • Cards in the waste pile can be played onto tableau columns or foundation piles. Remember to follow the descending order and suit rules when moving cards.
  • As you create complete sequences of cards (King to Ace) in a single suit, move them to the foundation piles. Start with an Ace and continue building up to the King for each suit.
  • Keep moving cards between tableau columns, utilizing empty columns, and building foundation piles. Plan your moves carefully to create more opportunities for sequencing and clearing the tableau.
  • The game is won when all cards have been successfully moved to the foundation piles, with each suit having a complete sequence from Ace to King.
